  Annual Eagle Festival
This February 3,4 & 5, 2012 weekend is the Annual Eagle Festival at Reelfoot Lake State Park Visitor's Center-Ellington Hall. There will be a 19 panel Steam Boat Exhibit that survived the earthquakes of 1812, Bird of Prey Show(each Sat. evening Jan. through Feb. 4th )they will introduce you to injured Raptors that call Reelfoot home & shed some light on the Raptors importance to the ecology of this area and a Official U.S. Collector's Postal Stamp available. Children will get to paint there own duck decoy! We have one of the largest population of bald eagles in the area. Come and enjoy a weekend at Reelfoot Lake we have many great restaurants and plenty of lodging. Bus and/or Van tours will be guided by state rangers to see the eagles in there nests and soaring in the air. Tours are $5.00 per person-it's recommended to make reservations at 731-253-9652.   Save Our American Raptors
John & Dale Stokes will give the audience an extraordinary opportunity to experience birds of prey at close range. Their program will contain a variety of hawks, owls, eagles and other majestic birds. Some of which will be allowed to free fly which provides the audience an unforgettable experience. Bird of Prey Programs held at 2:00 & 7:00pm** Variety of programs throughout the day**19 Panel Steamboat Exhibit will be on display!

Join representatives from CUSEC to learn about the New Madrid Fault past, present and future. Also the 19 Panel New Oreleans Steamboat Exhibit on display!

Thomas D. Schiffer will present a program on the steamboat that survived the earthquakes of 1812. 19 Panel Steamboat Exhibit on display.

  Native American History
Join State Park Archeologist Bill Lawrence for a better understanding of the Native American History of the Reelfoot region. Bring your artifacts and discover their age and uses. 19 Panel Steamboat Exhibit on display!
